Drum Roll Please

He said it out loud. I cried. I'm a dork. Then I asked him if he meant it like "that" or just as friends. He laughed at me.

Then he said "like 'that'".

Love is a beautiful and terrible thing. I am happy that you have each other to love if only for the moment. I'm wrong there. You two will always love each other. Even if this move (his and yours) keeps you physically apart for the rest of your lives, you will always occupy a space in each other's hearts. Love is always a good thing.

Mr. Stonecold, I thank you for giving Law Girl something she very much needed. Hold her tight so that she can remember your arms. She will cherish you for the rest of her life. She may not admit it after you've gone, but I can see how much she cares for you. Otherwise, how could she get so upset about you? I also want to thank you for going out there to help protect me and those I love. You are a soldier and therefore a hero! Be well and safe! You've already shown that you are brave!

Law Girl, I have no more advice. I don't know what I would do if the man I love was leaving. I would try to think of him as a hero who is fighting to protect his lady love. I'd probably romanticize it like that.

I wish you both joy and strength.

Thank you Osquer...You made me tear up.

He is my knight in shining armor. Sometimes, what the fairy tales don't talk about is that the knight has to leave. Sometimes he comes back. Sometimes he doesn't. But that's never the part of the fairy tale that gets repeated.

Finally it is materialized into audible word. I'm glad it made it completely out into the open before he had to leave. It may make things al the more bittersweet, but I think the sweet is worth the accompanying bitter.

The name is George, is that to dorky?

He loves me...it's not enough for another posting...but it makes me smile nonetheless.

And every time he says it I shiver from head to toe. Is that normal?

Very, very normal.

The two of you are almost as retarded as the chef and I. Of course, I mean it in the nicest possible way, although I realize it's probably an affront to retarded people everywhere.

For the sake of everyone else, i think the two of you should consider staying together. Just imagine how miserable either of you could potentially make the normal people.

I don't consider this a bad basis for a relationship, in fact. It certainly works for Chef T and I.
