Socially Unacceptable

At some point I lost touch with the current expectations of normal. Either that, or in the past 72 hours I have randomly encountered the two most socially unacceptable primates in the history of organized society.

Ms. Twinke is one of the most beautiful women I know. She's physically drop dead gorgeous. The kind of girl that other girls don't want to sit next to, because no matter how much time we spend in front of the mirror we'll always be the ugly fat friend. But she is also beautiful on the inside. She's a real human being. She's down to earth. If I swung for the other team I'd totally do her.

So she likes this guy, let's call him Mr. Putz (can you guess what happens next?). They were friends. They flirted. She told him she liked him liked him. He told her he wasn't ready for a relationship, but that they could take it slow and see what happened. She gave him head last weekend. Tonight we saw him on a date with one of her friends. And yes it was a date.

(Insert fuck head fucker head Mr. Stonecold story here).

Between these two men I have determined that at some point the universe shifted and it became socially appropriate for men to act like assholes. Somewhere it is acceptable behavior to lead a woman on, tell her you're not really ready to date, fuck her, and then go date someone else.

Maybe it's the water here in fly-over land. Maybe it's the alignment of the planets. Maybe it's the orbit of the moon. Maybe there is too much fluoride in the cheeseburgers at Wendy's. I don't know, but I do know that in MY world that is not acceptable behavior.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the need for a good shagging every now and then. I understand that not everyone is looking for a relationship. I understand that not everyone will fall head over heels in love with me. I don't expect those things. I do expect unbridled, bloody honesty! Evidently that is not the social norm.

Wow! First of all, love the picture.

Secondly, I'm with you on the honesty thing. I can put up with a lot as long as they don't lie about it.

I don't know what went wrong, though...myabe it is the cheeseburgers....just another reason to date a vegatarian!!

:)
